Mina A. Elmankabady

Commercial Real Estate; Business Law;
Business Litigation

“I’m passionate about understanding my clients’ goals, then looking at how we can accomplish them with creative thinking and options that are in the clients’ best interests.”

Adviser, consultant, representative. In his multiple roles as adviser, consultant, and representative, Mina Elmankabady assists clients in successfully managing their businesses. Mina works with real estate developers, family-held businesses, banks, construction companies and others on a wide spectrum of issues, from transactions to day-to-day affairs to litigation. Whether it is a first-time legal matter or ongoing business, Mina understands how important it is that clients reach the best possible resolution. He prides himself on being accessible to clients, exploring the options with them and keeping them informed from beginning to end.

Litigation and transaction expertise. As a shareholder uniquely experienced in both litigation and transactions, Mina believes the dual perspectives work together to benefit his clients. From a litigator’s point of view he can help clients draft contracts to prevent lawsuits. From the transactional side he can serve clients as a problem-solver and consultant to resolve disputes and get deals done. Business and real estate matters are often complex, and Mina also draws on the diverse expertise of other DMQ lawyers when questions arise about accompanying matters such as mergers and acquisitions, tax and related issues.

During law school, he was a member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and also served as a Caruthers Fellow, assisting faculty in the Legal Research and Writing Program for first year law students.
